Greetings and welcome to CINEMA INSOMNIA’s SCREAMING ROOM—A 3D Virtual Screening Room managed by MediaPodz.
--A big hand for CUBE3 for making this “happening” happen.
Please be aware that this is the official debut. We did only one test before. This is a new frontier of Hosted Virtual Horror Shows and we will be discovering what works and what doesn’t work together. We hope to constantly improve to bring you these crappy movies in the best most modern methods possible for no money.
Tonight we will be viewing Mr. Lobo’s latest CINEMA INSOMNIA DVD, THE WASP WOMAN, answering Q and A, keeping many fantastic prizes, and giving away many More!
Tonights Feature will be presented through the deliciously kitschy Low-Def magic of YouTube-O in 10 minute increments. At the breaks, new patrons will be welcomed and instructions given on what numbered clip we are on and when to start it. There will be a countdown at 10 seconds before show times.
Please set your virtual phones to vibrate...However, talking to you neighbor is allowed and required during the the film clips. Heckling is also permitted but ONLY if the heckles are funny. On the 3rd unfunny heckle you may be asked to leave by one of our ushers or usherettes.
Prizes will be given at the beginning of the show and at the half time INTERMISSION. If you know the answer to a question…make your avatar “Dance” if and Mr. Lobo will call on you for an answer. So be sure to position yourself in front of virtual Mr. Lobo if you want a prize. The Prizes are a Cinema Insomnia DVDs, Cinema Insomnia Stickers, Decoder Rings, A DVD of The Sinful Dwarf, and a copy of House By The Cemetery DVD from Apprehensive films.
We just had the benches painted --so there will be no sitting at this event. What do you need to sit for anyway? You’re a computer generated avatar! In real life you probably already sit enough for two worlds anyway.
Smoking is permitted and for tonight's film, drinking is encouraged. So without any further “to do”, stand back, relax, and enjoy a night of real-time midnight movie fun with virtual audience participation…Thank You!
